We strongly suggest to call at least 7 to 14 days prior to the move. our least busiest days are between the 3rd and the 24th of each month. The busiest months are April to September.
Yes, For small moves up to 3 bedroom apartments, you can get an estimate over the phone. For larger moves, we recommend to get a no cost visual estimate in order to be more accurate.
An apartment usually takes no more than ½ ( half) hour. A house may take no more than an hour.
Many factors required to be gathered in order to be accurate. Local moves will take usually several hours from start to finish while long distance moves can take several hours for pick up and several days for delivery depending on destination and dates requested by you.
Before the move. We strongly recommend to check all appliances are disconnected. All boxes are concentrated in each room and sealed. All boxes are marked clearly on the top where they assigned to be moved in the new residence. And most importantly make sure that all items required are disassembled.
State regulations require that all charges for local moves be paid upon delivery of the move. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, money order, cashier’s check, traveler’s check, or credit card. For Long Distance Moves we collect 50% of charges on day of pickup and rest on delivery only by cash, post office money order only. Please contact us for any questions related to payments. Yes, but how much protection you have and its cost to you depends upon the insurance or valuation option you choose. Please refer to our coverage options explanation sheet attached or ask our representative for more information. Shipping certain high value items or collections may require you to purchase extra coverage. If you have a question about something, just call and ask.
